The Kentucky Association for College Admission Counseling (KYACAC) is an affiliate of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). It is an organization with over 700 professionals from across the state and region serving students as they make choices about pursuing post-secondary education. KYACAC effectively brings together secondary school counselors, college admission and financial aid officers, enrollment managers, independent counselors, and organizations engaged in guiding students through the secondary-to-higher-education transition process.

"KYACAC (as well as NACAC) has been vital in my professional development as a School Counselor. KYACAC/NACAC provides information on the latest trends in college admissions, allows for networking and has allowed me to grow professionally through leadership as a former Affiliate President and as a member of the NACAC CEO Search Committee. I have been able to lobby on Capitol Hill for more support for college access and for School Counselors, participate in a variety of presentations at conferences, and enhance my personal skillset in college admissions, none of which would not have been possible without active membership in KYACAC and NACAC."

"We find one of our most valuable affiliations to be KYACAC! Having an organization that is intentional about partnering with both institutions and postsecondary counselors for networking and training purposes truly ensures consistency of service and high standards of practice. In addition to being part of an affiliation that takes student services seriously and make them a priority, we enjoy the comradery and the celebratory nature of the conferences and events. This group is truly one of a kind!”
